Helena Christensen: the lady and the lace

We really enjoyed reading Helena Christensen: the lady and the lace in this week’s Evening Standard which explores the model’s love of lingerie as a work of art.

We share her feelings. Lingerie is something highly personal, extremely subjective and above all, the one thing you wear throughout the day that is generally hidden from public gaze. The artistry and design that goes into producing pieces of top quality, high end lingerie is endless – especially when working with fabrics as delicate as silk and lace.

We were also delightfully surprised that Helena mentioned a lingerie shop in Copenhagen called Tekinoktay – which has been on the Fox & Rose radar for some time – the Founder being a family friend. After a visit to the store back in May were were rather taken by its beautiful displays and fabulous selection of pieces from top designers.

We are also watching with interest the Triumph International lingerie award which Helena will be helping to judge this summer!

Great article from ES Magazine!
